Worked example
For example.com, a new page, an updated page and a deleted page can share one request. Repeating the new-page URL adds no extra entry. A URL on www.example.com belongs in a separate batch.
Turn a list of changed pages into a reviewable request. This free browser tool prepares the files you need to notify IndexNow from your own terminal.
03 / Request files
Review the batch before producing files. No request is sent by this page.
This declaration does not verify ownership. The receiving service performs its own verification.
Validate a batch and confirm website control to preview the request.Save indexnow-request.json in your terminal’s working folder, then run the cURL command. Keep your response for your records.
A valid request is not evidence that any page has been crawled, indexed or ranked.
Reference only: these are possible responses from IndexNow, not results observed by this tool.
Enter your exact website origin and generate a key, or use the key already installed on that website.
Paste or import changed URLs. Review invalid lines, other hosts, duplicates and removed fragments.
Host the key file at the displayed root URL. Confirm control of the website, download the JSON and run the cURL command yourself.

03 / How to read the results
This tool prepares files only. It does not check your server, submit URLs, verify ownership or report search-engine index status. Use it for changed pages on a host you control.
Only if you control that host and can publish its key file. A backlink to your website does not establish ownership of the publisher website.
No. Keep the response from your own request as a submission receipt. Crawling and inclusion in search results are separate decisions; this tool does not observe either.
