Wix SEO: check public-page readiness before judging results

This is a manual planning aid, not a live audit, supplier catalog or ranking prediction. Examples are fictional. Nothing is fetched or submitted; downloaded files stay on your device.

A readiness example, not a configuration change

Authored fictional example. The code below is displayed as text and does not modify the canonical or robots directives of this page or your Wix site.

The example says what an editor intends. It does not prove index selection, visibility or results.

Public accessThe current repair guide is published and readable.Public URL, response, visible heading and whether login is required. An editor preview alone does not prove public access.
IndexabilityThe intended useful page has no accidental indexing restriction.Site/page controls and observed robots or access restrictions.Eligibility is distinct from actual index inclusion.

How to use the matrix

For the workshop guide, the intended public address is a stable, descriptive resource URL. The worked record checks its public response, visible heading, declared canonical, robots directives and links from relevant navigation or related content. The metadata example is deliberately shown as escaped code. It uses a fictional domain and is not installed into this page or a Wix account. A record saying index, follow merely describes an intended directive; it does not prove that Google selected this URL or that it appears in search.

Review inconsistencies before changing anything. If a canonical points elsewhere, determine whether the page is genuinely a duplicate or whether the setting is accidental. If an old URL redirects to a new resource, that may be the correct migration behavior; deleting a valid redirect can break existing references. Keep internal links, canonical preferences and sitemap entries consistent with the intended destination. A stable URL should not be renamed solely to insert another keyword. Save the prior state and the reason for each necessary correction so it can be checked and reversed.

Review checklist

Create a dated readiness record: page URL, purpose, public accessibility, observed directives, preferred canonical, discovery path, responsible owner and next check. Then use the site’s authorized Search Console access, when available, to examine indexing information and search performance. A sitemap helps describe discoverable URLs; submission is not a guarantee that every page will be indexed. Separate impressions and clicks from commercial results, and note the measurement period. This guide does not connect StarBacklink to your Wix or Google account, and it does not request indexing automatically.
