SaaS backlinks: choose a useful destination before outreach

This is a manual planning aid, not a live audit, supplier catalog or ranking prediction. Examples are fictional. Nothing is fetched or submitted; downloaded files stay on your device.

Product pageUnderstand whether the software solves a specific workflow problem.Accurate capabilities, limitations and a clear route to further information.Claims are broader than the actual feature or the page only repeats slogans.
Integration pageConnect the scheduling product to a supported calendar.Current supported versions, setup steps and known limitations. The integration is planned rather than available, or instructions cannot be verified.
DocumentationComplete authentication or troubleshoot a specific error.A reproducible example, version context and an accessible explanation. The example is outdated, exposes credentials or requires unexplained private access.
Comparison pageChoose between workflows or approaches for a defined use case.Dated criteria, sources and explicit tradeoffs, including where another option fits. The page declares a winner without evidence or hides material limitations.
How to use the matrix

Imagine a scheduling product with a calendar integration. An article about reducing double bookings needs the integration workflow; a developer troubleshooting authentication needs documentation. A buyer comparing workflows needs a dated comparison with limitations. The four rows show these different destinations.

Choose a candidate source because its audience has the relevant task. Describe the specific missing reference or useful resource honestly and leave the editorial decision to its owner. For paid placements use appropriate sponsored or nofollow qualification; do not present payment as independent endorsement.

Review checklist

Record source context, target URL, useful evidence, maintenance owner and review date. If a tutorial changes, update or replace the destination before repeating outreach. Measure observed referral activity separately from conversions, attribution assumptions and search positions; none proves a fixed monetary value per link.
